Add Responsive Design to After Effects
How about adding Responsive Design to After Effects. Both Time and Space, like in Premiere Pro. That way we wouldn't have to design unique graphic templates for different resolutions. With regards to time, if you create a logo bug with a fade in/out, the user could drag the graphic file out to be as long as the sequence - instead of having to duplicate the file to make it fit.

Responsive Design — Time is now supported in After Effects, for both AE comps and Motion Graphics templates. You can create Protected Regions anywhere in your composition to lock keyframe durations when retiming.
I’m marking this Completed to track, but please file a separate request if features like Responsive Design — Space are critical to your workflows.

Are you working on a solution for Space?
It would be great if a Motion Graphics Template could detect the sequence size in premiere to activate the right composition inside a mogrt template.I think there is another post adressing this issue:

Responsive Design — Space would be an amazing feature to have; it's baffled me that these kinds of features have been available for so long in FCPX and Motion but not Adobe. Pretty please...

Especially since Motion+FCPX already does this...

An example would be that if a lower third is created, we can animate on/off and add responsive design-time to it knowing it would hold the animation regardless of when the editor lengthens or cuts it.

BOTH OF THEM

To me, time would be the most important, since it’s the one that would come first in mind (long sentence, long time onscreen)
I don’t know if we’d need ghosted key frames, but I’m sure getting the in and out point (exactly like what you’d build in Pr), would be very practical.
That’s exactly what I was looking for earlier, thinking it shall obviously be there :)

That would be very interesting indeed. And if the "responsive design" is complicate, I guess "responsive time" is easier. It's sad that I can't directly extend an .Ae .mogrt directly in premiere without doing time remap + . I don't see any key at all…

I double this request, maybe it can be implemented together with this idea "Parent Layers In Time": https://adobe-video.uservoice.com/forums/911311-after-effects/suggestions/33851092-parent-layers-in-time
