Label Colors for Keyframes
Allow users to use the same label colors but for keyframes similar to markers. This would definitely be helpful for character animation to help organize different loops or cycles. Simply add a list to the context menu when right clicking on selected keyframes.

It would help distinguish chunks of animation, and give clarity to the beginning and end of repeating sections.
Check the mockup, and for comparison's sake there's a screenshot of how it looks *without* color coding.
As someone that works in highly complex comps every day, there's no doubt in my mind that custom keyframe colors would be just as valuable as custom layer colors. It would be one of those "how did we ever live without this?" features.

That was exactly my Idea a few weeks ago, when i had to animate a complex rig.
This combined with a keyframe-group feature would be a great addition!

I have been saying that I want this for 12 years! Why do we even need to vote on it? It's so practical and would be useful to anyone who uses Ae no matter the use case. I really think Adobe would make some huge wins if it just improved Ae's UI information design. Make use of color, grouping, hierarchy, etc. Anyway, glad to see color is being thought about.
If gruops of same colored keyframes could be selected across layers by color it would make updating timing more convenient. I would like this feature

Good idea, would be very useful.

Cinema 4D has a pretty nice implementation of this: http://lesterbanks.com/2013/09/coloring-layers-in-the-cinema-4d-timeline-for-better-visual-identification/
But I definitely agree with Sander's idea.

Excellent idea. I love Sander's idea of how it could look as well.
100% agree with this one! It will give so much clarity on what function keyframes have. Here is what it could look like:
