Label Colors for Keyframes
Allow users to use the same label colors but for keyframes similar to markers. This would definitely be helpful for character animation to help organize different loops or cycles. Simply add a list to the context menu when right clicking on selected keyframes.

I'm very excited to announce that keyframe color labels, along with a new design for keyframe selection, are now available in public beta!
You'll need to update to version 22.5.0 Build 18 or later to get access. Learn more here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-beta-discussions/welcome-to-keyframe-color-labels-in-ae/td-p/12927209
Thank you for all your input. Please give the beta a try and let us know how it's working for you.

default colors (with the possibility to set your own ones in the settings) for different transforms such as Position, Scale, Rotation, Ancor point, and Opacity would be great as well. And maybe some default color for effects keyframes. It would be so much easier to wrap your head around if you know that, for example, your Scale keyframes are green by default, Rotation - red, etc...
but make it so users could change the default labels, as I said before, and also change the colors of individual keyframes.
kinda strange this is not an option still

It would be great if the user could set the default color for the keyframes and outline color.

I'm surprised this hasn't already been implemented! This would be so helpful.

I requested this years ago. I'm glad to see others acknowledging that it is important. Yes, Please Adobe. Help us out!

Oh hello Adobe, here's your top voted request without even the slightest acknowledgement from your team. This has been here for 4 years. What is wrong with you?
-
Ryan Hoog commented
Yes Yes Yes Yes. I was going to post the exact same request but then found this one. Premiere has so many market color options. Please give us the same feature in AE with Keyframes.

Aidan Stickland commented
Please this would be incredible.

Also being able to filter keyframes by color could be useful

I just ran in to a situation where this would be really helpful. I got to a keyframe where I need to deep think on the physics and how to best render the effect that I want so I'd like to highlight the keyframe in red - like a problem keyframe - so as to leave a visual reminder to come back later and spend some more time there.

OMG this would be amazing.

I would also add that when organising projects and having folders with colour labels, it would be good to have any imported footage/assets automatically choose the same colour as the folder you’re putting it in, doing this manually every single time is pretty frustrating.

Absolutely Yes! It will be so helpful for working with loop cycles

@Adobe can someone please respond to this and let us know that you hear us?! 597 votes and two pages of comments isn't enough traction for a simple idea that would make so many people happy? If this was the ONLY feature you added to the next version of AE, I don't think anyone would complain because it would be so, so valuable!

Manel Sacadura commented
That would be a great enhancement!

Yes! This! I have also been thinking for a long time that this would be a no-brainer improvement to the timeline. A similar, and also helpful feature would be to colorize keyframes by property. There could be a default colorization and a way to customize it.

If it hasn't already been mentioned, it would be amazing if we could Select Keyframe Group in the same way that we can Select Label Group.

Yes, this, please!
