  1. BUG?: Enabling per-character 3d breaks 3d layering.

    Turning per-character 3d on breaks 3d rendering.
    Can be tested with a simple solid, a text layer, and turning the camera around.
    Things above the text layer appear as "always on top" and things below, always under irregardless of it's z position or camera behavior.

    Don't know if this is working as intended, or a bug.

  3. Mask skips frames on render bugg

    In the preview it works great, but while rendering, the masks keyframes skip themselves so the result is horrible, I don't know how to fix this.

  5. Protected Regions + Time Remapping

    When using a comp with protected regions inside, you are still able to add a time remapping, for example, to change timming in a non protected part of the comp. But these two tools when used together causes a crash in the project that you are not able to open it again, as seen on the image.

  7. Increase the brush size of LIQUIFY. It's too small at 600pixels!

    The brush size of liquify caps at 600px. This is way too small. Please increase! Necessary compositing tool!

    Fill effect bug with GPU acceleration when combined with set channel effect.
    On OS X 10.13.6 and AE 16.1.1, using NVidia GTX 1080 TI, see attached project, toggle mercury GPU acceleration on and off, and you'll see the set channels effect only working with GPU acceleration turned OFF.

    When cameratracking footage 'unable to acquire rendered frame' keeps popping up. Tried with the same footage in cc2018 where it works perfectly fine.

  14. VR Converter broken in AE 2019

    VR Converter in AE 2019 seems to not be working. I created a cubemap layout of 90 deg 1x1 renders and then dropped that into another comp. It would not convert from or to any format. regardless of any options.

    I took the same footage into AE 2018 and it all worked as expected.

  15. calculations, set matte, set channels - all drop down parameters to be expression- linkable and store the exact reference layer

    Right now if I were to copy or apply as effect preset calculations on a layer, it could loose the second layer link to even if it is named the same as previous.
    and would be so helpful to have them linkable so you could copy paste reference links to different compositions.

  16. 3D Shape Repeater looses the 3D properties

    Dear Sirs,

    I am not sure what my idea involves from the programming point of view, maybe also other users also asked, but I am talking about using the Shape Repeater, in case the Shape is 3D. The repeated shapes, no matter the number, do not keep the 3D Shape properties.
    Is it possible from the software engineering /programming point of view to solve it? It could be interesting ! But it is just my point of view.

  17. Moving multiple keyframes of a mask at the same time

    Let's say you have a comp, and traced a mask on it. You move the mask for each frame, resulting on creating lots of keyframes. Now, you realize you need to offset the mask because the comp changed a bit. You cannot select all keyframes and move them at the same time, it will only move the keyframe the cursor is one.

  18. Option for set matte to start at beginning of matte animation

    You have an animated precomp that you want to use as a matte on multiple layers throughout your timeline. You want to start that matte animation from the first frame every time the matte is used. Currently you can't do that only using one matte layer. Add a checkbox to the set matte effect labeled "Start matte from the beginning" to allow that functionality.

  20. new layer's length as selected layer!

    It is so annoying to have to trim every time you create a new layer to the same length as the layer you'd need, or use plug-ins/scripts for that matter,

    would be awesome every time you create a new adj layer, solid etc, length would be the same as the selected layer, not having to trim it all the time, I have to do this all the time atm.
