  2. CBR is not really CBR

    CBR is not real CBR.

With every CBR settings in media encoder, final export always has the lower data rate rather than the chosen data rate.

  4. Installing ME on more than two machines

It would be great to be able to install Media Encoder on multiple machines (more than two).

This way you can assign multiple machines to, for example, create proxy files when you have a lot of big files.

  5. Make it reliable for rendering AE compositions

AME is not reliable when it comes to rendering for AE.
Time Remapping fails, some fx do not work, straight alpha is not available.

It would be great (and usefull) when AME renders exactly the same as AE.

Otherwise it is useless as a standalone renderer (as promised).

  7. PP & AME 12.1.2 broke support for YI 4K+ 60fps

AME 12.1.2 is ignoring 4K 60fps files from the YI 4K+ Still works in 12.1.1

And Premiere Pro 12.1.2 says "The importer reported a generic error" on one system, and another records a series of events:

    A low-level exception occurred in ImporterMPEG (Importer:39)
    A low-level exception occurred in ImporterQuickTime (Importer:57)
    A low-level exception occurred in ImporterQuickTime (Importer:39)

(Oh and thanks in advance for adding that copy button to that Events windows for the next version..............Adobe......)

  11. Bug: loudness normalization does not work with multiple outputs

    Hi,
I noticed, that the effect "loudness normalization" does not work properly when rendering one source to multiple outputs at the same time. I have 2 outputs (both h.264 and aac audio) and added the "loudness normalization" to both outputs, but with slightly different settings. The results are brutally different from the renderings with only one output at a time, but with identical settings. This really got me ******* my head, for I couldn't figure out my mistake and had a tight schedule. It would be nice to render to more than one output with stable results!
    Best, Normann.

  14. HTML 5 video export

it would be great if a user could choose a preset in the media encoder that would batch generate all of the resources required to embed a nicely configured HTML 5 video into a web page. the way Dreamweaver is set up it seems to beg this workflow and productivity / interoperability feature.

i imagine it would also export a block of html that would already have the variables assigned and ready to drag right into our waiting project(s).

  15. QuickTime Pro Res Renders Failing

I am having the an issue when I try to render a Quicktime ProRes 422 master. I can encode it without problems within Premiere, but when I send it to AME I get the Export Error message, with error code 2147287036 listed. I am on a brand new 27 iMac Retina 5K, 4.2 Ghz processor, 64GM RAM, and a Radeon Pro 580 with 6 GB VRAM. This is a fresh install of Creative Cloud. There are no previous versions running on this system, as I installed Creative Cloud apps for the first time on Thursday. I am running 12.1.2 on…

  16. better default settings

I'm super lost and upset about the removal of the h.264 quicktime codec from after effects. Also, super unhappy that I can't render quicktime prores on windows. Since the work flow has been explaned to me by your adobe care twitter specialist that we must use Adobe media encoder for h.264 and the default settings are garbage maybe make the default more like these settings https://bit.ly/1ShdNKR better yet throw out the legacy codecs and give us something as good as ProRes!! Thank you!

  20. Adobe Encore (stopped development in Adobe CS6) does Blu-ray audio/video multiplexing and Blu-ray authoring. What current software does it?

Now dormant Adobe Encore does Blu-ray audio-video multiplexing and Blu-ray authoring. What CURRENT software does this? Apparently it's not Adobe.
