Mogrts processed as media offline in Premiere sequence when using Watch folder
I am trying to export a Premiere Pro sequence with mogrts using the Watch folder in Media Encoder. I've tried several solutions to get this to work, and the only way I have found it to work is if I place the mogrts in the root watch folder. This is a problem because the Media Encoder will recognize the mogrt files and process them in the queue, thus having them moved to the source folder once they have been exported.
Moving a project folder (e.g. PROJECT1) containing a Premiere project, raw material inside a subfolder (RAW) and the Motion Graphics folder to the root watch folder and then moving the Project file to the root watch folder will start the export process, but with the graphics files showing as Media Offline. If I do this without mogrts, Media Encoder is able to relink the raw material residing in the project folder.
Am I doing this the wrong way or is this a scenario you haven't thought of?
Using Project Manager to export the project directly to the Watch folder (as a subfolder) and then dragging the project file into the root Watch folder works.
Moving the entire project folder and then moving the Premiere project out into the root folder, as pictured below, does not work.
As you suggested, James, opening up the project file (when it resides in its project folder), the video file is found automatically whereas mogrts has to be relinked manually (picture 2), even though they're in the same subfolder as before they were moved into the Watch folder.
If you move the project and media and then open it in Pr, does it relink the mogrts automatically? If not, then there may be a general relink bug with mogrts.
I can see now that it works if I use Project Manager to export the project to a subfolder of Watch folder first and then drag the prproj-file into the Watch folder.
