Tool set to specify naming conventions for image/exr sequence and multi-file exports
Ability to modify naming conventions upon exporting image sequences and multiple files i.e. uniform amount of digits within the sequences frame number suffix. For example:
EXRExportFrame00001 ... EXRExportFrame10000
instead of the current default, which would export like
EXRExportFrame1 ... EXRExportFrame10000
The non-uniform digit amount in the sequence suffix creates problems when importing sequences with many frames into Nuke for example, as Nuke wants to group sequences based on how many characters are in their name rather than only reading the linear numerical sequence. Therefore, you would either have far too many read nodes OR have to batch rename the beginning portion of files in the sequence which can easily be done in Bridge if you have a reasonable amount of files. But if you're working with a 5 minute long EXR sequence exported from 4K 10-bit LOG Footage composed of over 20,000 files, this process now becomes quite unreasonable because of Bridges ridiculous need to populate image thumbnails for each file in the sequence. Which brings me to my second request... The ability to switch off thumbnails and caching of specific file groups or types in Bridge. This makes certain batch rename operations unnecessarily long and clutters GPU performance and valuable disk space which makes this operation nearly impossible if trying to complete on the go.
All this could be avoided if we simply had more control over naming conventions in the first place or at the very least being able to batch rename in Bridge without being interfered by its ridiculous amount of over processing. I realize I could easily download 3rd party programs to perform the same function, but I pay for Adobe Creative Suite and believe in the products to do what I need so I would rather use your programs.

I might do that for AfterCodecs. What export codec do you need ?
