Broken Dynamic Link Connection (v16)
Ever since updating to the 2019 version of Creative Cloud, the Dynamic Link Server in Media Encoder is unable to connect when attempting to export AE compositions. In After Effects, the compositions don't transfer through the render queue or "Add to Media Encoder Queue" options. The only way to export is to select the comp through Media Encoder's media browser. Even through that, the compositions are not updated to recent changes even though the AE file has been saved.
Working on a 64GB iMac with macOS High Sierra with newly updated CC software.

I thought I nailed it, but alas - Dynamic Link between AE and AME needs a rework. Too much issues.
Not reliable in a workflow. -

Fucking bastards, my client waiting for finished work and I CAN'T RENDER IT! Nothing works, it is totally broken, useless AME shit. It says "CONNECTED" but everytime it stucks, XMP loads foerever for my Sequences. I have 9900K and 970 PRO M2 SSD. AME is the WORST thing you could create, ever, because it is NOT working. I refuse to pay for Adobe products, no thanks.

This has been an issue for me for years now: Broken connection between OPENED Media Encoder and correct AFX or PP sequences. I have delivered countless wrong versions to clients because of this...

Same problem. I want to export to mp4 which only works on AME but it takes forever to load! and has dynamic link server error! I had to export to .mov , upload to youtube, and download it again to make it mp4!

I'm using the older version of AE & AME right now; the 2017 version is working for me. Not really a solution but better than nothing....

For me the solution was to change OS language to the same as the language for the apps.
I also did a complete uninstall first, and then cleaned everything with cc cleaner first.
Then only installed AE and AME -

I have the same issue. Nothing is added to media encoder when you export from AE.
Re-installed both apps and refreshed the prefs.
The only work around I came up with is to render a full .mov file and then re-render that one in the Media encoder with other specs like .mp4
Takes a bit longer but at least you end up with a usable end file. -

Have the same problem. Sending composition form AE to AME do nothing. I try open in directly through AME but Dynamic Link Server didn't want to connect. I have important work to send out and have to look for anyone without that problem who could help...
