Convert variable frame rate to constant
smart phones are variable frame rate- if you want to be able to edit with this footage it has to be constant frame rate- hand brake does this for free but you have to choose one file at a time and its slow-

How is this still not addressed when it's already common technology to encode in VFR and Media Encoder and Premiere Pro don't know how to address it still?

I love you!!! It worked 100% (transcoding with Hand Brakes I mean). You made my day. God bless you.

I've been having this issue and have been incredibly frustrated by the out of sync playback issue that this results in.
I've got what is going to be a common process if it isn't already, which is editing video in vertical format. handbrake doesn't export anything with a height larger than 1080 and media encoder/ premiere pro (2020 for both) can't handle VFR.
How is this happening in v2020?
