PP & AME 12.1.2 broke support for YI 4K+ 60fps
AME 12.1.2 is ignoring 4K 60fps files from the YI 4K+ Still works in 12.1.1
And Premiere Pro 12.1.2 says "The importer reported a generic error" on one system, and another records a series of events:
A low-level exception occurred in ImporterMPEG (Importer:39)
A low-level exception occurred in ImporterQuickTime (Importer:57)
A low-level exception occurred in ImporterQuickTime (Importer:39)
(Oh and thanks in advance for adding that copy button to that Events windows for the next version..............Adobe......)

FYI, the Yi files are fixed in Premiere Pro and Media Encoder 13.0. Please make sure to quit Premiere Pro and Media Encoder, delete your Media Cache files, then install/launch Premiere Pro or Media Encoder 13.0 and then import your Yi files.

...and then, after manually restoring the AME config, you send 20 projects through the DOWNGRADED pipeline for AME to render...and it uses the wrong preset because Premiere Pro (Not Responding) doesn't use simple TEXT to command the same PRESET you've used THOUSANDS of times before...
Adobe ladies and gentlemen... the weak link in your production pipeline.

60 minutes later, AME downgrade complete...and it's trashed all my User Presets & Groups. CC didn't even have the courtesy of re-creating a program shortcut...after it deleted the old one.
Classic example of the sort of Monday afternoon productively one can expect owning CC licenses...

Programmer: Sir shouldn't we restore the user settings?
Manager: Not necessary we have CC sync for that.
Programmer: Sir we never actually got that working correctly.
Manager: Yes we do, it's right here in my future release notes a couple of versions from now. -

For the two issues that you are running into, would it be possible to provide us with some sample files for investigation? Thank you.

Downgraded Premiere Pro (Not Responding) to 12.1.1 and I can import the files again...but of course even though CC installs Media Encoder (Not Responding) it doesn't take care of downgrading it.
While doing that manually I'm imagining a brief conversation that happened between the AME manager and programmers:
Manager: What are you doing?
Programmer: We're making CC downgrade AME when someone chooses to downgrade PP.
Manager: Why are you doing that? Sounds backwards to me.
Programmer: Because PP and AME go together. One installs the other.
Manager: Why would anyone want to downgrade them both? Stop doing that and won't on this instead. I need you to get back to work screwing up the keyboard shortcuts in PP so we'll have something to report to management that we improved in a future version.
Programmer: But sir, why wouldn't we just work on fixing bugs or adding new features from the wish list?
Manager: Just do It - I've already written the next two versions of the release notes.
Programmer: ""
