Monitor audio during encoding
It would be helpful to be able to monitor audio (either through speakers or a visible meter) during encoding. I find it very useful to catch editing issues in the Output Preview monitor, however I do sometimes still get caught out with audio problems. If there could be an option to preview the audio as well, that would be very useful.

Audio meters in the Output Preview window at export are a great option. (audible monitoring not-so-much)

Meters WOULD be useful in identifying audio export problems quickly (like my current missing tracks problem, where all tracks are playing fine in premiere right before I bring it into media encoder, but the final render is missing one or more tracks!), rather than having to wait until the encode has finished to find that out. Ok, depending on the nature of the program content, it may not help everyone, but it absolutely would identify it for me. It would mean I could fault find in minutes rather than hours/days...

Not useful. You should check audio before exporting.

Given that export RARELY proceeds in real time, going either slower or faster, I don't see how this option would help.
