Get a text when an encode/export job is done.
I would love to get a text or phone notification when a job finishes encoding so I can leave the studio and come back when its done.
We are currently working on this feature and it should be in beta before the end of this month.
Here’s what it will look like.

Hi, any update on when notifications will be applied to Media Encoder as you've already introduced this to the After Effects render queue? Thanks.

They just announced After Effects is getting notifications to your Creative Cloud account (and thus a watch app, but you can assume it would be able to send to any device that can sign into creative cloud, ie: your phone) So I would think they're half way there to being able to add notifications to Media Encoder.

Even being able to see the active queue and each files progress through a simple app attached to your Adobe ID. Simple functionality like being able to pause, skip, or stop files along with push notifications for when a file is complete or if there are errors. Being able to monitor a long list of proxy files or work in tandem off-site with networked drives and file delivery.

Push notifications might be a slightly more elegant solution. You could get one each time a queued item is completed or when all jobs are complete. Also, if it were app based with push notifications, you could also pull up the queue remotely to check the overall progress at any time, or on multiple machines in a render farm.

Or an email to the email address linked to your creative cloud account. Or a creative cloud app on your phone that will tell you the current status of everything your software is doing on machines on which you are logged into your creative cloud account via the cc app.
