Unable to add to Media Encoder queue from After Effects
Since I updated to the 2022 version I'm unable to send my compositions from After Effects to Media Encoder
93 votesThe After Effects team identified the offending bug and released a patch update that fixes this problem. Please update to the latest version of After Effects (version 22.0.1). There is no need to update Premiere Pro or Media Encoder. We didn’t need to release patch updates for those since the problem only existed in After Effects.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but it’s all fixed now.

Critical bug / Media Encoder 22
Encoder 22 just doesn't import any projects. When project is sent to queue from After Effects or Premiere nothing happens. Tested on three different computers I have on hand (OS is Windows 10 and Windows 11). I had to roll-back to previous version of CC, because I just wasn't able to get any results from ME 22.

Hi all,
First, my apologies for this problem and for the long time that it took us to address it here. We are working on making our support forums (community.adobe.com) and this forum clearer; currently, there is a lot of overlap between them.
I've recently starting working on cleaning up older issues reported here and this is one of them. This issue has been resolved.
Thanks,
Fergus Hammond

High Frame Rate transcoding does not go higher than 60fps
Plain and simple: bring back high frame rate encoding. It was in AME 2019 and at some point it was removed. Could this have anything to do with conforming to 'broadcast standards' related to timecode? As time code doesn't exist in formats faster than 60fps. Find a way around it because this is an essential editing feature request. ProRes is not solely for broadcast delivery, in fact it is the backbone of most editing pipelines who choose to not edit native.

Wrong sound when successful render is completed
Using AME 22.0 (Build 107) when a render is completed successfully I get the sheep bleating sound instead of the chime, but the encoding log says all renders have been successfully completed.

Failed in the 1st second of rendering
Ever since I updated to 2022 Media encoder, the first 1 second of rendering anything results in "Failed." It worked fine in the last version.

Sony XAVC QFHD mxf files wrong interpreted colors in AME - different from Premiere Pro
If I import a Sony XAVC QFHD file in Premiere Pro and export that clip directly from the Project Panel to a H.264 (Match Source - High bitrate preset), the source file is correctly exported with no color shifts. If I import the same file in Media Encoder, and export it with the same H.264 Match source High bitrate preset, there is a huge color shift, as if Media Encoder applies some color management to it. I have this issue since latest update (February 2022). Now all my Premiere Pro projects have the issue that all my Sony XAVC QFHD…

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks very much for the update! While it's great to have better color management in Premiere Pro - and this will continue to grow, as we add more format support - candidly, we could have made this transition easier for customers. A colleague of mine made a good video about this issue: https://youtu.be/odwptnEhxJs. You know all of this already but it's a handy reference for giving to others.

Bug - chime sound at the end of encoding
since MAX update the chime sound playing when encoding is done, is no longer the standard/usual sound, but the "sheep sound" which was used before for error messages.
This is pretty annoying and irritating3 votesResolved ·AdminFergus Hammond (Product Manager, Video & Audio Cloud Workflows, Adobe DVA) responded

Vimeo: Cannot connect
Cannot connect to Vimeo in the Publish tab of the export settings window (Premiere Pro and Media Encoder). Posting in Media Encoder uservoice, since Vimeo shows that as the connection.
I was connected and published okay after update to PR 14.1.0. In response to the forum thread below, I Signed Out in PR, and was unable to connect. See my post there.

Mobile App for Queue Monitoring
Having the ability to see the active queue and each files progress through a simple mobile app attached to your Adobe ID. Simple functionality like being able to pause, skip, or stop files along with push notifications for when a file is complete or if there are errors. Being able to monitor a long list of proxy files or work in tandem off-site with networked drives would be huge.

Media Encoder v13.0.1 Exporting gifs change all colours slightly. #FFFFFF changes to #FBFBFB
When I export my After Efects composition as a gif with Media Encoder, it alters all of the colours in my file. White (#FFFFFF) changes to an off white (#FBFBFB) this is not a colour calibration issue as when opened in other programs the colours can be eyedropped and are completely different. Exporting as a video keeps all of the original colours, only gifs cahnge.

captions
When I export a video directly from Premiere, all of my closed captions work. However, when I send a batch of the same programs to Media Encoder, the closed captions are stripped away, and NOT burned into the videos. This means that I have to sit here for endless hours, individually exporting each video. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP. I've seen several posts from 2017 from people experiencing the same problem. How does it still exist in 2019? Please fix it so that whatever we export from Premiere is EXACTLY what we get in Media Encoder. We need to be able…

Adobe Media Encoder bug - Media Offline for captions w/ After Effects
I've encountered a strange bug. I have captions and an After Effects lower third on two different tracks on a timeline. Using Mac OSX 10.13.4, AME 12.1, Premiere 12.1.
If I render out of Premiere, no problems.
If I send to AME and try to render, the caption track renders as "Media Offline".
If I delete all content such that only the caption and the AE clips exist, the caption track renders as "Media Offline".
However, if I delete the AE content (turning off visibility doesn't do it) then the captions will render normally in AME.
It doesn't matter where…

Exporting Captions: "embed in output file" only exports 608 captions.
In EXPORT SETTINGS in Premiere:
- when I have both 608 and 708 caption file on my project, I hit "Queue", it will only export the 608 text. However, in Premiere if I don't hit "Queue" and hit "export" it will export both. So, exporting in Media Encoder does not for some reason export the 708 caption stream. Only the 608 one.
