BUG - Multiple Outputs from Single Source File Fails / Is Inconsistent
Trying to export two versions / sizes to H264 MP4 from a source 1080p ProRes file. I'm using CUDA accelerated Mercury Playback Engine. AME behavior is inconsistent. First attempt resulted in one of the two desired outputs being completed successfully, with the second output failing without an error.
Tried switching to CPU Mercury Playback Engine, re-added file to the queue, set desired outputs, but this time both output files failed to render. No error, just failed.
I switched back to CUDA accelerated, re-added file/outputs, and this time both files output successfully.
I'm on Windows 10 Pro, with an AMD Threadripper…

Removing of bugs associated with Media Encoder such as the application locks up on you when attempting to create a mp4 copy.
I find that this Media Encoder is not reliable, the applications locks up while trying to complete a task causing extra time placing keyframes that had already been established previously in the file that was to be encoded.

Launching encode puts Mac to sleep
The last two times I have hit go on an encode, my computer has immediately gone to sleep- which disconnects my NAS. It is a 2014 iMac and my current files are 4K but it shouldn't be taking a Nanna-nap every time I do an encode. Meanwhile there is a 5 sec delay on these key strokes while typing so I am a little worried about ME working the computer too hard.

Temporary .AAC or .M4V files don't delete after .MP4 is done exporting.
I have been having this problem lately that when exporting After Effects files through Media Encoder with multiple projects that the .AAC or .M4V temporary files don't vanish after the .MP4 is ready with exporting.
Attached is my .EPR file that I use.1 vote -

Please fix Wraptor DCP
Wraptor DCP keeps freezing rendering a small file. If you're going to have Wraptor as part of AME, shouldn't it work?

Error handling project with RE:Vision Effects DE:Noise V3
New Media Encoder shows an error 'source not found' for projects, using RE:Vision Effects DE:Noise V3.
deleting plug-in can encode.

Watch Folder not working at all
Hi,
Upgraded to 2020 and the watch folders do not work at all. I am connected to a Lumaforge Jellyfish server and exporting to my local desktop on a Mac Mini.
When I add a project to the watch folder, AME gets a beach ball and hangs.
The project is set up correctly with sequences at the root of the project. Already tried resetting preferences, changing the folder location, restarting AME, trying a new project, etc. The watch folder just sits idle and then AME freezes when a new project is added to the folder.

Media Encoder 2020 Renders Stalling
Just a simple queue of 2 videos that contain Broll and simple titling from the Essential Graphics element. First video rendered fine, second video stalled at different points, but routinely stalled. This is on an iMac 2017 (max specs) running Mojave. Both videos rendered just fine within Premiere. I have never had a render stall out in Media Encoder until now.

AME 13.1 Build 173 Hangs or Crashes Macbook Mojave 10.14 When NO OTHER CC App is Opened
AME 13.1 Build 173 APPEARS to run the CPU to max capacity which APPEARS to trip some safety system on the motherboard which then shuts down the computer - BSoD for Windows, Shut Down on a Mac.
See Forum Posting for More Detail > https://forums.adobe.com/message/11121422#11123448
This obviously needs more testing, because it just seems weird that software that has been around this long would cause a situation like this, but changing the settings in Windows seems to have fixed the issue, so I don't know what other conclusions to draw.
The suggested improvements would be:

Media Encoder 13.1 (build 173) locks up when InDesign is opened
Encoder will lock up (stop mid-encode and not proceed) when InDesign is opened at the same time. App has to be crashed and restarted to work again.

Can't import .mp4 files to convert with the latest version.
Standard .mp4 file from a Mavic Pro drone gives me a failed to import message with the current version of Media Encoder. Reverted to 13.0 and was able to import, no problem.
Sort it out!
