  1. Lens distortion correction preset for DJI Mavic 2 Pro

It is great that you have effects presets for correcting Barrel Distortion for some of the older DJI drones. How about adding one for the two year old Mavic 2 Pro?

    Thanks!

  3. Cannot import h265 files that used to work on 13.0.

I'm working with h265 footage from a Mavic 2 Pro that used to be compatible on Pr 13.0 and with 13.1 I can't import anymore.

  5. General Import Error with Drone Footage in Premiere 2019

When I import Mavic Pro 2 HEVC files (MP4) into Premiere 13.0.3 on a Windows 10 PC, I get the "general import error" message. My windows settings are set to hide file extensions. For me to be able to import them I have to manually add the ".MP4" to the end of all the drone clips. Then they import fine. However, if I just make it so that the file extensions are NOT hidden, the file will have the .MP4 extension but will NOT import. I actually have to manually add the .MP4 myself for some odd reason. Frustrating. Not…

  6. A button to help with broadcasting directly from the editing suite

There are cases in news broadcasting where you can not make it in time for your news piece to air and you have to broadcast live from your timeline via SDI for example. In this case it would be helpful to have an option or a button to help make Premiere ready for that so when you know you are going to broadcast live from your Premiere timeline you can just press that button and it automatically suppresses every action that could interfere with your broadcast, for example auto-saving. This would help with the pressure of situations like this and…

  8. 12.0.1 importing issues

Videos files *.MP4 and *.MOV directly off Camera's - Gopro, DJI mavic pro and Sony a7 are importing as audio files only. This has never been an issue, and even on update 12.0.0 you could import these cameras.

Today is the second time I have updated Premiere Pro April 2018 update to find major issues (last time it was PNG's corrupting titles creating weird effects on videos.

I have wasted over 1 day and a half dealing with these issues and have had to re-create client work as the program is not backward compatible when rolling back to the last…

  9. I love the new import section, however...

There appears to be certain video files that don't show when using the new import page. In particular I couldn't see or preview .MOV files from my Mavic 3. I had to remember to import them separately afterwards using the original method of dragging into the project bin.

Screenshots show what I was able to preview on import from a specific folder as well as what was actually in the folder on Finder.

I hope what I'm saying makes sense.

    Thanks!

  10. H265 playback issues on Premiere Pro 2022

The newest Premiere Pro is working great with 10bit 4:2:2 H265 footage, playback is flawless, but other 10bit 4:2:0 H265 files (Fujfilm XT3) are unplayable, while Premiere Pro 15.4.1 works smoothly with that footage. MacOS, M1 MacBook Air. On Windows it doesn't seem like an issue.

  11. PrPro vanished in thin air in a split of a second when rendering CineForm (.mov) clip.

It was difficult enough to learn that the latest AME was NOT able to export in CineForm. Rollback to 13.0 and there's one version of CineForm (.mov) working. So far so good.

But when I took these clips to PrPro, they scrubbed well and everything was fine until I started rendering a section; then all of a sudden whole PrPro vanished. Just like that. Twice. Third and fourth time during keyframing position/rotation.

  17. Growing File support for AVF AppleProRes

When using Tools On Air Just:In software to generate a growing file in the new AVF format of AppleProRes, the file remains 5s long within Premiere while ingesting. The file never grows while the record is happening. As soon as the record finishes the file jumps to its proper length.
AVCi100 mxf files behave as expected, and the AVF ProRes files work as expected in Final Cut Pro as growing files.

  18. Deinterlace with seperate fields option

    EVS servers require interlaced exports.

Our footage is a mixture of progressive & interlaced.

We wish to keep resolution of progressive & deinterlace (ideally with option to blend, field double or motion estimation) the interlaced.

Also when progressive is speed changed we want the resultant frames to be progressive.

We can’t switch the sequence to progressive as we may need to play to air at any time.

Currently we either export interlaced & field double everything (via EVS playout ‘filmfx’). Or export sections as progressive & overcut in the interlaced sequence.

  19. Closed captioning encoding options

The improvements to the captioning system and the transcribe feature are great, but for broadcasters (this one, anyways) exporting an MXF file with closed captioning encoded doesn't seem to produce the desired effect on air.

For instance, a file we get from another source says the text stream is encoded as "A/53 DTVCC Transport", whereas anything I export out of Premiere says "Ancillary data/CDP" and doesn't seem to translate to closed captioning in our broadcast. The option to select DTV captioning and ensure that a file is broadcast ready would be amazing.

  20. Very slow import of assets containing closed captioning

I am attempting to import (link) a 90 minute plus asset using Premiere Pro v. 15.4.2 for on-air versioning. I have two Full HD OP1a .mxf assets that are identical, except one contains Closed Captioning on line 18 and the other does not...

The asset without CC is acquired in less than a minute and the version containing CC requires more than 10 minutes to accomplish the same task. It makes no difference if Preferences > Media > Include Captions on import option is checked or unchecked. The outcome is the same when CC is present..

    Seeing that assets…
