Windows ProRes encoding
Cineform is nice, but ProRes is still inescapable and necessary, sometimes specifically required as a deliverable. What would it take to get ProRes encoding on Windows?
I'm talking about real ProRes, not a reverse engineered ffmpeg/miraizon type.

mogrt presets
MOGRT - Save Parameter as presets
we create MOGRT for adobe stock, and we include a lot of parameter for user to create his own style of lower third or titles.... the problem was each time user need same style they need to repeat all the steps to get same style agin, so my idea is to include a presets tab can save all the used parameter and user can be able to select the presets they want. e.g. we create a lower third with ability to change size, intro/outro style, add/remove section, and so.. which allow user to create…
3 votesThe addition of the Dropdown Menu Expression control allows for Mogrt creators to make their own presets.

Rec2020 Color Space for HDR & HLG Workflows.
Would love to see non rec709 color space for HDR/HLG workflows. More cameras are shooting HLG like the GH5 now. This would be a great and welcomed addition.

bug in captions/subtitles - can't use Export to Media Encoder with caption burn in enabled
It's a bug in your software, when exporting right out of Premiere it works to have the captions set to burn-in, if you choose Send to Media Encoder it will never work. No matter what you do you cannot get those captions / subtitles to burn in.
This is bad because it ties up your whole editing system just to export media one by one when you need burned in captions or subtitles.
12.0.0 build tested, bug everytime
12.0.1 also has same issue14 votesCompleted ·AdminPatrick Palmer (Director of Product Management, Pro Video and Motion Design, Adobe DVA) responded

Render & Replace should include effects
There should be another Render & Replace function that operates like how Freeze effects work in other applications.
It would be the equivalent to marking a section of your timeline, exporting it, re-importing it, and replacing it on the timeline. But it would also have a function to return to the original clip (so we don't have to keep the disabled original on another track) and would also include an option to choose to delete the "frozen" clip from the drive if we no longer want it.
This would solve so many issues with stacking effects, export errors, and would…

audio hardware
Please add default audio output to match window system audio output devices options.
That will be useful for some users like me. when I switch my audio output devices on windows, PR will use the same device for audio output.

KNOWN AUDIO HARDWARE ISSUE WITH NEW MACBOOKS (headphones/ ext speakers)
AUDIO HARDWARE ISSUE (KNOWN) WITH NEW MACBOOK PRO'S (and possibly other new Apple computers). Premiere pro DOES NOT RECOGNIZE if user is using headphones or external speakers and so every time the user switches from ext speakers to headphones you must MANUALLY change the configuration in AUDIO HARDWARE preference. Please address!!!

Why are we using User Voice for Bugs?
Why are we using User Voice now for Bugs? If there odd ball bugs no one ever votes for them . Keep new features and bug tracking separate.
30 votesSounds great to us! :)
If you can reproduce a given problem in current builds of PPro, please contact Support and provide step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce it; we’d be happy to help.

Lasso track or modifier key + drag to quickly select tracks.
Right now you can shift+click audio and video tracks to enable/disable all tracks, but if you only want half the tracks enable, you have to individually click on each tracks. Meanwhile, in Avid you can shift+drag a series of tracks and it will revert the function. It's quick and save clicks. This is true for source and target tracks + would be nice to work with sync lock, mute, solo and whatever button in this section too.

Improve captions-tool.
The captions-tool is now only for when the edit is definitely locked. What if the sequence needs to be changed after the caption-file is made? If a new scene is spliced in, we need to move all textcaps, making room for the new ones. But now we can only move them one by one, in stead of selecting many text-caps and move them all in one operation. (Using two or more caption-clips in one sequence is very buggy.)

Ability to align text within a text box (not just aligning the box itself)
Currently in EG text boxes can be aligned within the sequence area. I have run into time where I am trying to center text within the top half or bottom half of the screen. Since there are no guides in Premiere, the easiest thing would be to make the text box the size of the area you want to center the text, and center the text within that box. Or align to the bottom, or whatever is needed. Adding the ability to create guides would solve this issue, but one should also have basic text control within the text box…

Proper color management for P3 displays
Colors appear incorrect on wide gamut displays such as the iMac 5K. Please implement proper color management as already exists in Photoshop and After Effects.

This feature is now officially available.
You’ll find an option to enable Display Color Management under Preferences/General
Please note that this requires GPU acceleration.

Allow multiple Mogrt files to be installed at once not just individually inside Premiere
Allow multiple Mogrt files to be installed at once not individually inside Premiere. Currently copying a mogrt folder with multiple files to the 'Essential Graphics' folder does not work. It's a tedious job to install 400 mogrt files individually in the Essential Graphics tab in Premiere.

New Bin With Selection
I wish I could select a number of items in my project file and there was a 'new bin with selection' option when right clicking similar to how in finder on Macs you can make a 'new folder with selection'.
Thanks!

Speech analysis for auto captions/transcription
Speech analysis for auto captions/transcriptions. Need to create subtitles/captions for long formate videos and it would be nice to have speech analysis to automatically create a script from the video audio. Even if it's not 100% accurate as long as it has a built in editor to review and make corrections if needed. hope to see this feature in upcoming updates.
