14.0.1 - problem MOGRT - importMGTFromLibrary(), text doesn't refresh
Since version 14.0.1 of Premiere Pro I have a problem with MOGRT (Essential Graphics).
I use a script to import the MOGRT: function importMGTFromLibrary () and modify the content of the parameters.
Since the last version, the script still works, it imports and changes the parameters (texts, colors), but the Premiere Pro preview brings up the default parameters of the MOGRT.
The only way to bring up the right parameters is to go to the Edit tab of the Essential Graphics window and touch up the parameters.Opening old files created with this script poses the same problem ....

Canon XF 705 Codec still has issues
Having consistent problems with HEVC footage recorded with the Canon XF 705. This is not related to one individual computer and has been tested on many different systems to find the same issues consistently.
Bug description:
First of all the footage is incredibly laggy, it's impossible to edit from as it just freezes up after about 1 second of playback. We've tested this on even higher spec systems and the best we can get is some semi-smooth playback at 1/4 resolution with 1080p footage. If there is a way to improve playback of this footage that would solve the problem.

Let me turn off the "Success" notification
There is now "Success" notification every time I render a video and it's the most annoying feature. Please allow us to turn the notification off. I realize it can be useful, I guess. But, as for me this thing is driving me even crazier.
Thank you.

Add crossfade option to Essential Sound Music Ducking
The ducking feature in Essential Sound is a great time-saving tool, however, it fades either side of the dialogue that it's ducking.
Ordinarily, I hide the tails of fades behind the featured audio (i.e leave a slight crossfade). This way it's less jarring to the ear. The addition of an option to have the fade overlap the audio that it is ducking behind would be awesome.
1 voteThis has been added as the new "Fade Position" parameter in Premiere Pro Beta 22.5.0 Build 31.

Hello ProRes RAW community,
as of today, you can start using ProRes RAW in Premiere Pro 14.2 (public release).
Thanks to the large group of people from this thread that helped us during the last couple of weeks in putting finishing touches on the implementation through our beta program.

STOP DUPLICATE MEDIA FROM BEING IMPORTED
This has not been fixed even though Adobe has claimed to fix this.
I have the media in one master project. My assistant has a their shared project. I open a small sequence from that project and drag the media from it it into my main project. EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY HAVE ALL THE MEDIA, I STILL GET DUPLICATED MEDIA. And on top of that it creates a separate folder for each small clip of footage. Take a look at the attached screenshot.
This is horrible. Fix this asap please. What's the point of shared projects if we can't move…

Hi all,
I'm in the process of cleaning up some old threads on Adobe's UserVoice forum and I'm marking this request as Completed. The Production's feature of Premiere Pro provides a way to have a media project that is used by other projects, without duplicating the media.
If you'd like to know more about products, see the Long Form and Episodic Workflow guide.

'Paste onto same track' shortcut
Put the interview on V1, b-roll on V2, titles on V3 - track organisation finished! Not with PPro. You have to turn tracks on and off every time you paste something.
At least give us a 'paste onto same track it was copied from' shortcut.
Alternatively, when no track is selected make it the same as when all tracks are selected except that clips paste onto the same track they were copied from. Currently no-tracks-selected mode is useless (you can't even add edits with the keyboard) so you wouldn't be taking anything away from anyone.

Auto keyframe should be OFF! By default it should be off!
The autokeyframe by default on things loke opacity has been a source of many a frustrations for me.
I set an opacity value. Then later I change it. Play it back and I wonder why it isn't set where I wanted. So I open it up an goddammit the autokeyframe was on by default so to get rid of it I push the stop watch and that warning is thrown right at my face. I never wanted the keyframes in the first place so why did you assume I would, adobe?!
This problem would not be nearly as aggravating if…

Have Premiere Pro warn you if you are starting an export when a clip has the warp stabilizer "warning" across it.
I've found clips with warp stabilizer on them can flip to "needs to be analyzed" for no reason, and that warning getting baked into your exported footage is absurd.

This is implemented with the 13.1 release available this week.
Thanks for your feedback, keep it coming!

Bug scripting getFootageInterpretation -> setFootageInterpretation
This works in premiere pro 2019 and does no longer work in 2020:
Something changed in Object FootageInterpretation?
code:var interp = myFootage.getFootageInterpretation();
interp.frameRate =75;
myFootage.setFootageInterpretation(interp);2 votesWe were tracking this as DVAPR-4224879; it’s fixed in the current PPro beta, and will be fixed in our next official release.

Canon XF705 HEVC-MXF 4K files have very choppy unusable playback even at 1/8 resolution
Thank you for including HEVC-MXF support in your recent update. However at 4K the files are still unusable, even at 1/8 resolution I get choppy playback (works fine at 1080) which means I can't edit. I have a 2 day old iMac Pro with upgraded memory, processors, and video cards.

Warp stabilizer
Warp Stabilizer needs to be able to automatically adjust to different resolution footage inside of the same timeline. I waste an obscene amount of time manually nesting footage, going into that comp, resizing the nested sequence to match the clip, and then applying warp stabilizer, and then going back to my original timeline, and then scaling the nested sequence to this sequence size. Its a massive hassle and waste of time. Build a feature that allows it to do all of that automatically in the effect panel.
621 votesWe actually fixed this issue back in the 13.1.3 release (July 2019). Warp Stabilizer no longer requires the footage to match the sequence resolution. This allows for common workflows like shooting in 4K and mastering in 1080 so you have room to reframe the shot or punch in for a closeup and medium shot from the same camera angle. Warp stabilizer will work in these situations no longer requiring nesting. It is still a requirement that the pixel aspect ratio must match but this is less of an issue these days, where more often than not you are dealing with square pixels. If you haven’t updated since the spring of 2019, I recommend you update to the latest version. As always, thanks for your comments.

AE created mogrt files on different Premiere Pro languages
mogrt files created in the german version of AE, have default parameter names in different language of PP.
For example: a slider created in AE [german] with the custom name "Distance", appears in PP [english] with the name "Schieberegler" (german for Slider).
So the whole template is more or less useless for the user.
But my client has editors all over the world that have to use this template.7 votes -
Have option to use proxies for faster export
Would save a lot of export time to have a "Use Proxies" option when exporting, rather than using original media. I am currently working with 8K R3D files and my export for a 10 minute clip takes almost 2 hours for a 1080 work in progress cut. Would much prefer a lower res output using proxies to save time.

Copy and paste audio effects between tracks and make custom presets for tracks in the audio mixer.
In most of the times I work with audio effects on a track, not on a clip. There is no way to copy the settings.
368 votesPlease check out the latest Premiere Pro (Beta) update, available under Beta Apps in the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop, to preview the new copy/paste audio effects between tracks feature.
Right-click on the effects rack for any track in the Audio Track Mixer panel and copy or paste the entire effects rack from one track to another.
If you have a chance to try this out, please share your feedback ASAP as we’ll have time to address any issues before releasing this in the main public release.
Thank you!

Please update us on the Canon H265 (XF705) codec for Premiere
Adobe must inform its users on updates regarding support for future codecs and not blank out customers concerns and push these customers away to another Video platform. In marketing, you create the want for your products, ensure you create the want to stay with your products.
