Put clips in the right order when dragging to sequence
In an older version of Premiere, if I imported 100 clips, I could click on clip #1 and then shift-click on clip#100, drag them to the sequence, and it put them in the right order.
Now, it doesn't. I've been through support on this and they are able to recreate the problem.
The "fix" is to click-drag-select the clips in the order I want, but when I have 100 clips, this really isn't easy. Plus... it used to work, now it doesn't. Now, it just puts them in a random order.5 votes -
Let us apply labels from source panel
Currently you can only apply labels from the project panel (or in a timeline to clips in sequence).
Would be a big logging workflow timesaver to be able to hit your label shortcut key directly from the source panel rather than have to jump back over to the project panel.
Especially given the super clunky workaround for this search bin bug: https://adobe-video.uservoice.com/forums/911233-premiere-pro/suggestions/33872809-search-bins-and-search-bar-have-some-bugs-and-unwa

Provide same media name editing experience as Premiere Pro
It's ridiculously easy to rename a media in the project tree under Premiere Pro, ballistically you click and rename, and then hitting enter takes you to the next item to the allow you to rename that one if you so wish. It is so smooth and simple compared to After Effects' way of handling the same thing. Please provide an option to allow the same kind of workflow in After Effects. After all, the two programs should feel as one concise one. Currently little things like this make the two operate completely differently to each other -- they look and…

videos don't load in full (as a bug) so impossibility to finish the project
when I download new videos in the source monitor, the video does not load in full. It is like on the spot, while when I open it outside adobe they work very well. These sequences come from the same devices, and previous videos were loaded very well. No problem reading the rush .. I do not know where it can come from! Thanks for your help !

Match Source Audio Layout in Project Manager
Often Project Manager will fail to trim clips used in a sequence when performing a Consolidate/Transcode. This can result in massive amounts of unnecessary media being copied. The most common culprit is a mismatch between the source footage and transcode preset audio layout. "Match Source" should apply to the audio as well as the video when performing this operation. Obviously, there are some codecs that don't support certain audio layouts, but when transcoding to Quicktime Apple Pro Res or GoPro Cineform, this should not be an issue.

Duplicate/copy-paste File - To current folder, not root
In the project window, if you duplicate a file/sequence whatever, or a copy/paste it, it creates the new file in the ROOT folder of the project.
I would love it to create the file in the Bin I'm currently in.
Thank you.

Fix disappearing mark comments on merged clips!
Whenever you open merged clips in your source monitor, all your marker notes disappear when you double-click the clip. Very annoying and time-consuming, and seemingly unfixable. It seems this has been a problem for awhile, please help.

Plugin/re-link missing media cache drive when Premiere loads
I use an external SSD for my media cache, which occasionally gets unplugged from my laptop. If I forget to have this plugged in when premiere loads, I currently have two options.
• I can force-quit Premiere, plug my drive in and reload premiere.
• Or I can click 'ok' on the warning dialogue and my cache setting will be wiped and need to be reset in program.
I would love if the warning dialogue had a 'check for cache again' option, so that I could plug my drive in, instead of force-quitting or resetting to default.

Don't delete renders when I change sequence settings
When I change sequence settings, it deletes any sequence renders. This happens even if those renders are still being used in other sequences. Now I have to re-render them everywhere else too.
Just give me the option to not delete renders.
Here's an example of how this happens. I have a sequence that I need to make an alternate version of using a different frame size and aspect ratio (it's enough of a difference that I can't just crop/pad during output, I need to re-position things). If I duplicate the main sequence and change the size, it now deletes my…

Allow placing a sequence from another project as a link
We can now place links to other Premiere projects as well as links to After Effects compositions. What is really missing is the ability to do the same for Premiere sequences. This is not the same as importing a sequence since that merges the other project with the current project and the sequence won't update if the external project is changed.

Command + Double click no longer opens multi-camera source seq's in timeline
While in the project bin, Command + double-click no longer opens multi-camera source sequences in the timeline. Using right mouse click then selecting 'open in timeline' works as well as creating a keyboard shortcut.
They also open fine when you use command + double-click from within another timeline. The issue is just from within the project bin.3 votes -
Allow consolidation of projects to a single folder location without duplicating any media which already exists at the destination
If media is spread across several folders, allow the 'Collect and copy' function to intelligently consolidate media to a chosen destination folder, without duplicating any media that already exists at the destination.

Opening old an older shared project version has the project converted but link isn't updated
Opening old an older shared project version has the project converted but link in the source project isn't updated and remains pointing at the old version. The solution would be for projects not to have to have to convert in the first place.

BUG: Cannot associate TIFF files after Project Mgr. copy-to-new location
After using project manager to copy files to new location, it does not copy tiff files and will not manually link to them. If I manually try to link to the tiff files, it gives an import error, except there is no actual error text.
In fact, we have multiple projects that will not import tiff images -- they give an import error without any actual error text.

BUG: Premiere is auto-closing some of my open sequences which is a huge hassle.
I have 3 or 4 sequences open then when I reboot my computer (because Premiere Pro is so buggy) then only ONE sequence is open

Bug - CC2018 makes junk files next to projects
When I open projects, Premiere creates one or more empty files in the project folder with names like "7810fad9-0422-4112-a68b-c96e32c9e13c"

A better emergency Save in the event of a crash
Sometimes it doesn't do anything. Especially since 2018. If you're not going to make stability rock-solid - make the emergency Save flawless.

why is my footage cut to 1 second when it is 37 minutes?
why when I import footage that is 37 minutes into premiere pro cc 2018, it cuts my footage into 1 second (a single frame) and it is still one second in the source manager but when I watch the video on my pc it is still 37 minutes?
