Premiere Pro

ANNOUNCEMENT - This forum is moving

In an effort to improve communications between you and the Premiere Pro team, we are moving this feedback forum to the Premiere Pro page on the Adobe Support Community. As requested, bugs and feature requests will be able to live separately in that forum.

This move is happening in part to acknowledge that we haven't been responsive enough here, and we are combining our forums to help remedy that. Ideas and their attached comments from this UserVoice forum will be migrated based on how many people voted for them. Check your profile on the Adobe Support Community to see any migrated posts that you've created or commented on. If you have an item here that did not make the migration, please bring it over to our new home.

See you soon on the Adobe Support Forum!

  1. STOP DUPLICATE MEDIA FROM BEING IMPORTED

This has not been fixed even though Adobe has claimed to fix this.

I have the media in one master project. My assistant has a their shared project. I open a small sequence from that project and drag the media from it it into my main project. EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY HAVE ALL THE MEDIA, I STILL GET DUPLICATED MEDIA. And on top of that it creates a separate folder for each small clip of footage. Take a look at the attached screenshot.

This is horrible. Fix this asap please. What's the point of shared projects if we can't move…

  3. .mov import bug

Since 12.1.0 There is an import bug in which Premier will import XDCAM .mov files as audio only. It only does this with some files though.

I have not been able to find any rhyme or reason to the bug. For example, the majority of files shot on the same day, on the same camera import as audio only, except some get interpreted as video.

Previous versions of Preiemer were able to import these same files just fine. Clearing the media cache and restarting do not fix this is issue. Converting the files in Encoder to mxf fixes the problem…

  5. Adobe Premiere Pro CC 12.1.0 - Elgato MP4/60FPS import issues

    Hello,

I have a problem with adobe premiere pro 12.1.0 since the last update. I've created a project a week before that update. The source files have the following details:

    Video (Made with Elgato HD60):

    Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10 avc1)

    Lang: English

    Res: 1920x1080

    Frames: 60 per second

    Format: Plana 4:2:0 YUV

    Audio:

    Codec: MEPG AAC Audio mp4a

    Lang: English

    Stereo - 48kHz

Before I've started the update everything worked fine. After the update I'm getting the screen pending media. If I click another point at the timeline I'm getting a picture from the video. But it…
