  1. STOP DUPLICATE MEDIA FROM BEING IMPORTED

This has not been fixed even though Adobe has claimed to fix this.

I have the media in one master project. My assistant has a their shared project. I open a small sequence from that project and drag the media from it it into my main project. EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY HAVE ALL THE MEDIA, I STILL GET DUPLICATED MEDIA. And on top of that it creates a separate folder for each small clip of footage. Take a look at the attached screenshot.

This is horrible. Fix this asap please. What's the point of shared projects if we can't move…

  2. Sort alphabetically within User Order on import

Currently, if you have a folder sorted by User Order and you batch import (shift-click to select), say, media1.xyz, media2.xyz, media3.xyx and media4.xyx, they won't appear in alphabetical order. They'll be in some wacky, seemingly random order like media2, media4, media3, media1 at the bottom of the folder. It's not even reverse order. It's scattershot.

If i import media1-4, then those items should appear at the bottom of a User Order-sorted list alphabetically within that set.

(i realize i can sort the folder alphabetically by Name - that's not what i'm requesting here. i'm asking that when i import sequentially…

  3. Reveal in Media Browser

Similar to "Reveal in Project" or "Reveal in Finder/Explorer" it would be nice to have an additional "Reveal in Media Browser" option that opens the chosen file in Media Browser, including showing the folder path in the left hand column.

One of the common uses of "Reveal in Finder" is to quickly find other takes from the same card/folder that have not yet been imported. Because some file types can not be natively previewed in Finder or Explorer (eg RedRaw, or ProRes on a Windows machine), it would be much easier to reveal the files directly in the Media Browser…

  4. Media Mapping For Team Projects / Team Project Linking Offline Media / New Media Mapping

In a normal project the ability to link media and search for media of the same file name throughout your computer/drives is incredibly useful when files become un-linked/offline.

In team project when Im creating new media mapping for clips the ability to search or locate is not there ( see screenshot) this means I have to manually find the clips to create the new media mapping which is incredibly time consuming. If new media mapping had search and locate with the same tick boxes as in linking media in a normal project it would save me hours of time. The…
