Premiere Pro

ANNOUNCEMENT - This forum is moving

In an effort to improve communications between you and the Premiere Pro team, we are moving this feedback forum to the Premiere Pro page on the Adobe Support Community. As requested, bugs and feature requests will be able to live separately in that forum.

This move is happening in part to acknowledge that we haven't been responsive enough here, and we are combining our forums to help remedy that. Ideas and their attached comments from this UserVoice forum will be migrated based on how many people voted for them. Check your profile on the Adobe Support Community to see any migrated posts that you've created or commented on. If you have an item here that did not make the migration, please bring it over to our new home.

See you soon on the Adobe Support Forum!

This has been fixed in version 22.5 which is available now.  There is a slight difference between Mac and Windows that you should be aware of.  On Mac you can select any file with any file extension to copy the name.  On Windows, the default is to only show the same file extensions you are trying to save.  So if you are exporting a .mp4 and want to copy the name from a .mov, Windows makes this hard - it hides the .mov files from you.  We are working to fix that specific issue on our end somehow since it's a silly limitation.  This is the same behavior as the legacy export mode.  There is a workaround on Windows though.  Type *.* (star dot star) and hit Enter in the filename field.  This will show all files in the directory.  This is a function of Windows that Premiere Pro has…

  2. Please remove "Your video was exported successfully"

    "Your video was exported successfully"
This is superfluous, an extra key stroke and super annoying. I still have to play it down and look to see if there are any issues. If there is an error - please let me know. At least give me the option to turn it off.

  3. Let me turn off the "Success" notification

There is now "Success" notification every time I render a video and it's the most annoying feature. Please allow us to turn the notification off. I realize it can be useful, I guess. But, as for me this thing is driving me even crazier.

    Thank you.

  4. Have option to use proxies for faster export

Would save a lot of export time to have a "Use Proxies" option when exporting, rather than using original media. I am currently working with 8K R3D files and my export for a 10 minute clip takes almost 2 hours for a 1080 work in progress cut. Would much prefer a lower res output using proxies to save time.

  6. Option to use proxies or source clips when exporting

I use Premiere generated proxies with a baked in Rec709 LUT for my projects. For previews it would be nice to have the option to use these proxies and not the source clips when exporting.

Yes, you can choose to add a LUT in the export dialoge, but since I'm working with different cameras and log formats this is no option for me.
