Issue with changing audio channels
Hi,
Just downloaded Premiere 2022 (22.4.0) and it seems like there are times where - when I change the audio channels of a file, the audio doesn't actually change until I make an edit in it. So anytime I want to flip an audio channel, I have to make an edit to that clip, then undo it, in order to get the correct audio channel output.

Audition Remix Added to Premiere Pro
I use the Remix feature in Audition nearly every day, causing me to make the roundtrip from PPro to Audition and back. It's time-consuming. Additionally, if I install the PPro public beta, it breaks the dynamic link to Audition, causing me to have to uninstall PPro, Audition and the beta, then reinstall PPro and Audition to restore the link. If Remix was added to PPro, it would solve both of these problems.

Varicam LT audio issues in Premiere Pro 15.1
Varicam LT audio turns to pink noise / white noise in 15.1. Plays fine in 15.0.

AUDIO PANEL stop default buy from Adobe and to add our own sound fx libraries
When you open the panel - it Defaults to BUY from Adobe. It should be EDIT.
Allow us to add our our own audio effects from our own libraries we have accumulated.
10 votesWe changed this so it defaults to edit now. I recommend filing a separate request for adding your own audio to essential sound.

Copy/Paste effects from Audio Track Mixer tracks
Hi! I have 280 sequences that all need to have added two effects from the Audio Track Mixer-panel, but the effects there are not possible to copy and paste from one sequence to one or multiples, so I now need to create 1 sequence with correct Audio Track Mixer effects, then duplicate it 279 times, then rename all new 280 comps and then paste every one of the original 280 sequences into the new one in order to have an easy Single Band Compressor on Audio Track 2, and Hard Limiter on Master track.
A simple right-click in the option…

Right-click on the effects rack for any track in the Audio Track Mixer panel and copy or paste the entire effects rack from one track to another.
If you have a chance to try this out, please share your feedback ASAP as we’ll have time to address any issues before releasing this in the main public release.
Thank you!

Add crossfade option to Essential Sound Music Ducking
The ducking feature in Essential Sound is a great time-saving tool, however, it fades either side of the dialogue that it's ducking.
Ordinarily, I hide the tails of fades behind the featured audio (i.e leave a slight crossfade). This way it's less jarring to the ear. The addition of an option to have the fade overlap the audio that it is ducking behind would be awesome.

Copy and paste audio effects between tracks and make custom presets for tracks in the audio mixer.
In most of the times I work with audio effects on a track, not on a clip. There is no way to copy the settings.

Sequence Audio Doesn't Play After Opening A Project Unless You Solo and Unsolo A Track
After opening a project, the audio will not play in any open sequences. In order to get it to start working, you have to solo and then unsolo any audio track. This has been an issue since Premiere Pro Version 12.1 for sure. It may have been introduced in version 12.0.
225 votesPlease check 12.1.2. We have provided a fix that we believe resolves this issue.

audio hardware
Please add default audio output to match window system audio output devices options.
That will be useful for some users like me. when I switch my audio output devices on windows, PR will use the same device for audio output.

Fix latest sound bug which mutes soundtracks randomly when Premiere is opened.
This bug has been reported by lots of people including me. When the latest version of PP is opened, some soundtracks are randomly muted and can only be enabled by clicking 'solo' twice. Hence before exporting it's necessary to check that every soundtrack is working. This is a new bug. Please don't keep adding more features if you introduce more bugs. It wastes too much time.

Audio Auto ducking - Extra options for beginning and end.
In the real world, ducking is used more subtle when the speech starts.
And afterwards the time is longer.
Let me explain the most usefull situation:I wish I could set the moment that the music is lower level.
I mean: 0.5 sec AFTER the speech has started it has to be at the low level to have a nice smooth transition/fade.
The face can be 1.2 seconds in total or so.
So the fade starts 0.7 sec before the speech and ends 0.5 AFTER the speech starts.
This gives a more natural way of music fade.

Adaptive noise reduction effect
The adaptive noise reduction effect doesn't correct the beginning of the audio clip.

This feature is now officially available.
You can gain access to this feature via the Essential Sound Panel in Premiere Pro, but it is also available as an Effect that you can add to your footage manually.
The same Effect has been implemented with the latest version of Audition, if you send your sequence to Audition for audio sweetening, it’s a non-destructive setting that is completely transparent to Audition and it remains fully adjustable.
Here’s an overview of what else is new with the latest version of Premiere Pro:

BUG: audio ducking crashes premiere if dialogs have dynamics or EQ
If you apply dynamics under clarity tab on essential sound panel, and then try to duck the music against the dialog by hitting the "Generate Keyframes" button, premiere instantly crashes. Happens on 12.1.1 on a new project, after reset with default settings and default layouts.
5 votesThis issue should be addressed in the Premiere Pro 12.1.2 update that was just released.
