Bug Report: Premiere Pro 22.1.1 compatibility issues with Red Giant Universe 5.0.1 - Error Universe Runtime
Universe 5.0.1 seems to have an issue with the new Premiere Pro 22.1.1 Update. Premiere doesn't seem to be able to load the .aex-files. It massively slows down the startup of Premiere. You need to accept an error message ("Error connecting to Universe runtime. Please reinstall Universe.") for every Universe effect that is not loading, meaning 93 clicks are necessary to open up Premiere. The same problem occurs within a Premiere-Project, when trying to apply a Universe-effect; plus, in some cases, it causes Premiere or my PC to crash.
Reinstalling either Premiere Pro or Universe does not fix the problem.…117 votesResolved ·AdminFergus Hammond (Product Manager, Video & Audio Cloud Workflows, Adobe DVA) responded

Third Party I/O device support in Premiere beta
Any timeline as to when Adobe will bring back support for third party I/O devices (Blackmagic Ultrastudio Monitor 3G) into the Premiere beta? I can't properly evaluate the beta without it due to needing SDI output.

bug report in pr 2020
IN WIN10: Using the Red Giant universe3.2.2 plug-in in pr2020, I can directly drag to add an effect, but when I select open dashboard in the effect control and double-click to add a detailed preset, pr2020 will instantly crash, and the new old title will cause "Low Level Exception Occurred in: Adobe Player "At this time I use GPU acceleration, when I switch to only software accelerated rendering, the material will be normal
1 voteThe crash upon applying a Red Giant preset has already been fixed in beta builds of Premiere Pro.
We’re actively working on the low level exception.
