Proxy Clip Colors vs Camera Masters
When I worked at an Avid house, they had a great workflow where they would color camera master clips green and proxies would be yellow. This way, you could open a timeline and easily see if all the clips were online or not.
Premiere's workflow of having one source clip point to both the master AND proxy is awesome. However, i still find myself wanting to see if a clip I am on is a proxy for sure or not. I know the newest version has a watermark in the viewer for this which is a step in the right direction, but my playhead has to be ON the clip to see this. Is there an easy way to see that when I have the proxy toggle on, I can zoom out on my timeline and see which clips are proxies and which aren't? Adding that to the Clip Color/ Label preference would be an incredible addition and perhaps for those that wouldn't use this function, have the clip color for proxies be optional.
