Remix Feature Requests in Premiere Pro/Audition
So I'm really loving having the Remix feature in the essential sound panel but would love a couple things fixed/added to this feature to really make it sing that I've come across that are limiting its usefulness.
When the remix feature is enabled, there is not an easy way to reveal the underlying audio clip in the project panel as the Reveal in project command in the right click menu is disabled. I don't like having to Disable Remix and then being able to Reveal in Project. I would like a way to do this when the Remix function is enabled as well.
The Remix Functionality does not play well with OMF Exports - I would either like the OMF export to automatically take care of this for me and export out the proper files, while keeping my premiere timeline intact without change (not removing the live remix functionality) - or if it can't then the next request below will help me take care of this process a little bit easier
The Remix settings in Premiere and Audition are not the same and do not translate 1:1 - If I set a target duration in Premiere, and put the same duration in to the same track in Audition, I get two different mixes. I have to play with the sliders in the remix feature in audition to match visually by eye to make sure I have the same mix. Please identically match the settings and customization options in Premiere and Audition so I can set the same settings in each program and get the same mix. Currently to export OMFs for broadcast audio mixing - I do my initial mix with the remix feature in Premiere for speed - but then when I get ready to export OMFs, I have to translate that same mix back into audition so that I can export separate files that have the remix baked in - and the settings don't match between programs so its fiddly.
Thank you - these three requests would really supercharge my workflow and be greatly appreciated!
