The lastest version (22.1.1) is unreliable un Windows 10, is way too slow
I am on Windows 10 Pro for Workstations 21H2 build 19044.1415.
on a Dell Precision 7760 workstation, with an 11th Gen Intel Core Processor i9-11950H, 128 Gb of RAM at 3200 MHz, an NVIDIA RTX A5000 dedicated GPU w/16 GB of GDDR6 Memory, and PCIe 4 SSD's.
And ever since I updated to Premiere Pro 22.1.1, it takes A LOT longer to load the projects, A LOT LONGER to save them, and on the sequences, while moving a clip from one channel to another, it just freezes down.
Also, the Red Giant Universe Plugin stopped working (that I guess is a problem of Red Giant perhaps).
What the **** happened with this lame update?
I thought that Premiere would fly with all its might on a powerful station. What do we see? Whatever computer the user has, Premiere will always slow down. This, I think, is a development code that is not capable of making the product productive. We have something. This is the most important question that has already tormented me from topic to topic. But, it still remains unattainable.

Yes, Universe not working anymore for me too, I could not open Premiere if Universe was still installed, I had to uninstall Universe. Everytime I quit premiere there's a pop-up screen telling me that an error occured. And slower in general. I9, Rtx 2080ti, 64 Gb RAM.

Came here to complain about this. I have a large project that I was halfway through, playback was always perfect even without using proxies... now with this awful update everything is so slow I'm not able to edit at all!
