Attach proxies automatically does not work in V22
Attach proxies automatically does not work in V22. I just upgraded now this feature does not work. It only links the one file at the top of the list. I have MEDIA START checked. This has always worked. I tested it on the older version and I am correct. So this is a bug with the new version.

I just made ProRes proxies via Resolve. Exact same filename (no _proxy or _P like the C300 Mark III generated proxies), only the extension is different (CRM for originals, and MOV for the ProRes).
Premiere cannot link all the proxies automatically just because the extension does not match even though I have unchecked "File Extension". I have hundreds of clips to link proxies to, this is madness.

This issue is still ongoing as of 22.3 released today.

This issue persists with the latest Premiere update (22.2)

I have the same problem with Sony Cameras.
It used to work with the "Media start" option but doesn't anymore. I shoot proxy with my camera, since it speeds up the editing so much. But having to attach each proxy by hand is really annoying. I usually have hundreds of clips. I hope the fix this soon.

My current work around is when I start a new project. I have to have the previous version of Prem also installed on my PC. as well as Version 22. I create the project and import all my media (100s of clips) then attach proxies (works perfect) then I hit save. I then open V22 and it asks me to convert my project to the new version of Premiere. I agree. Then luckily, my linked proxies are still linked in the new project in V22.
This is annoying, but at least a work around for now.

Can confirm that this is an issue. Trying to attach proxies with recorded proxies in a C300 Mark III or a C70. With the previous version of Premiere, I could have "File Extension" and "Media Start" checked and it would attach the proxies to every clip, but with Premiere v22.0.0 it will only do one clip at a time.
