Some track effects don't copy properly when using copy/paste in the audio track mixer.
Hi guys,
I'm having an issue with the copy/paste features in the audio track mixer. When copying certain effects, everything copies fine and looks as though it pastes fine, but when I click play on the video it will erase the settings that have been pasted over.
This is mostly happening with compressor settings and it happens every time I try to paste a compressor across multiple sequences or tracks for dialogue.
a fix for this would be greatly appreciated
thanks :)

This is a long term bug: You can't copy/paste or even drag drop effects between tracks within the same sequence. Settings will always be lost in the process. This may not occur with all effects but certainly does with common ones like compressor, limiter etc.
Premiere's just not really built for complex projects where you might have lots of settings or the need to copy/paste/duplcate etc in a stable workflow. It's one of those Adobe-style implementation loose ends that probably won't ever get a clean up so unfortunately you just have to add time to your workflow and plan to add everything manually each time.
