Ins and Outs When Opening Sequence in Source Monitor
When a sequence has an in and out point set, and is then dragged to the source monitor, the in and out point remain in the timeline, but do not show in the source monitor. They also cannot be used to cut into another sequence until you go back to the timeline and set them again. This seems like a bug.

Oh, that's a good tip, Jan. I usually use shift i and shift o to go to the in and out points respectively and then click in the source monitor and set each point again. Moving them requires fewer clicks and keystrokes, but is also less accurate. Hopefully Adobe will fix this issue! I run into this multiple times every day because I have all of my raw footage in sequences.

I have the same problem, premiere 22.04 mac m1. If you then open the sequence loaded the source monitor in a source timeline using the wrench icon, the in and out are actually visible in that source timeline. But only after you move them, they show up in de source monitor, and you can use them to edit the sequence in your assembly.
