Bug - Clicking the time ruler when playing shifts the timeline view
This seems to be a recent problem as I don't remember Premiere always acting like this.
Situation - View is zoomed in to the timeline, press play, and the playhead quickly moves off the right side of screen.
When I click the time ruler, I want the playback to stop and for the playhead to move to the point where I clicked.
However it seems as though the playhead stops further down the timeline near to its current off-screen position.
Hey Adobe, any word on this? I'm now on 22.4.0 and it still behaves this way. Clicking the time ruler stops the playhead and scrolls the timeline view to where the playhead stopped. It is INCREDIBLY frustrating
This is absolutely critical to my workflow. The 2022 version updates of Premiere Pro ruined this.
It's why I'm sticking with 2021 until they fix this.

I don't remember this happening either and it is still occurring. Does any one know if there a fix for this yet?
