Improve Reassociate Master Clips
When Reassociating a selected sequence in a project within a Production, currently you have to open one [media] project at a time and for all sequences in each [editing/sequence] project.
What would be nice is if we could open a project full of sequences, select them all and then 'Reassociate Master Clips with All Open Projects". That way we could have open already our media projects (which we can open all at once) and then do a big 'reassociate' all in one go. (open to even more simplified suggestions like 'Reassociate with all projects in the Production' or a function like this at Production panel level - e.g. highlight a bunch of projects and choose 'Reassociate projects with all other projects'
I'm working on a large documentary with footage shot over several years. The project got too big to handle and there are now two people working on it simultaneously so we broke down the project into a production Sith 7 Media projects and several Editorial projects containing sequences of compilations, assemblies and various iterations of the master edit. Breaking down the original project into smaller parts causes ALL the sequences to lose their associations with media because they think they are still in the original oversized project. If you 'reveal in project' any clip in any of the sequences, it asks for the original project. So you Reassociate Master Clips, in our case, 7 times for each project containing sequences! - you can see why this would be handy to be simplified for anyone making a documentary that grows larger than initially expected - good doco's always do!
Thanks for your consideration.

I'm helping trouble shoot a similarly complicate large doc project with tons of media and tons of projects. I'm find lots of tangled links between edit projects and media projects. Often the "Reassociate Source Clips..." has no effect at all. Really wish it were more robust. The Adobe white paper talks about as something that should be used rarely, but in complicated projects that span years it is inevitable that things will get messy and need reorganization and reassociation along the way.

the very same here: documentary with loads of media and sequences + from time to time I have to rebuild the production in order to make it more transparent for everyone. it tends to happen that some of the older sequences are linked to projects that are gone for months already.
Also: when clicking on reassociate there is absolutely no feedback if it was successful or not, that needs to be changed too. It would be also very useful to be able to relink clips through projects in a production manually on a clip by clip basis.
