Could we use Adobe Sensei to timecode an existing transcript?
I often film and edit pieces to camera that are scripted and read off autocue - therefore a transcription exists. It would be great if Adobe Sensei could be used to create and time captions from a text file as an option start all over and do AI speech to text for an existing transcript?
The AI speech to text is great but may get 100% accuracy if script is provided?
I can see the "Import a transcript" option but it's maybe just not working in the Beta yet?

This would be truly amazing. A total game changer from the current process we need to use to add Open Captions to our videos. We have videos often that are around 30 minutes in length. Using PP auto transcript is amazing but with a 30-minute video there are a LOT of edits that need to be made with punctuation, capitalization, acronyms, and so on. Being able to upload our approved scripts for PP to use during the Transcribe process would be so great.

I agree with this! And see that it has been requested a few times on this forum. I'm upvoting all of them.
I truly second this feature! Could be a huge time saver.
The task of adding captions to pre-scripted videos of talking heads, explanatory videos etc, will hugely benefit from this.
PP could import a txt file with the transcript that does not have timecode, analyse it, and create captions aligned to the specific point in time. It will also get garbled words from mispronunciations correct, instead of trying to find something that matches acoustically but changes the meaning.

We often use scripts for our videos, so this feature would be a very welcome addition -- essentially a transcript autosync/timing feature.
