I have the same bloody issue! Playback of 4k files in program monitor is choppy and banding or horizontal line tearing. Quite unstable really and not useable in V22.6.2. I play back those same files in version 14.9 and no problem no issues. How come? Is it a Quick Sync issue? A CPU issue? Graphics card? HELP
Acer Predator PC Intel i7 10th gen CPU. Geforce 2060 super 8 gigs, 32 gigs system ram, LongGOP H264 10 BIT 4.2.2.

If it's on Mac M1, we have enabled Hardware Acceleration decode of HEVC/H264 4:2:2 10 bit on Mac ARM systems in the latest Premiere Pro Beta builds. We expect the issue to get fixed in the latest beta build(starting from build 58).
Please download the latest Premiere Pro Beta build from Creative Cloud --> Beta apps --> Premiere Pro (Beta)
