vertical video orientation option in interpret footage
more and more productions use high end cameras (as opposed to phones) for shooting vertical video.
Shooting full resolution requires mounting the camera sideways. So editors have to deal with rotating every clip by 90 degrees in the timeline.
I see this as an interpret footage option where I can rotate all clips clips in the project windows so the source monitor will already show them in the correct orientation.

I agree. Thought for sure this was already an option, since footage shot on iPhones already has this designation (and sometimes incorrectly, so the need to convert vertical oriented videos back to horizontal also exists).
