A Quick Start "Saved Template" for Project Bin Set Up.
I start my projects the same way every time. I am highly organized and have a system to keep things organized. I have to rebuild the project set-up every single time. Unless I missed it, I can't find a way to start a project with my bin template already there. I click it and I simply add the files.
My set up:
Bin:
01 Sequences
02 Footage
03 Music
04 Graphics
05 Dynamic Links
06 Screen Recordings
07 Misc.
I have to build this each time. Please allow us the option to make a template for Preferred organization. 1 click, set up. TIME IS MONEY!

100% This. I currently created the bin structure in a "template" file then copy, rename and open this file. but if there was a way to create a template all with the new import window that would be great!

Please implement this feature--it would save us a lot of typing.

Yes yes yes. I currently use PostHaste from DigitalRebellion to do this, so that my projects are always consistent, but would much rather have this built into Premiere. Of course it does more than just a project template, as it also allows a folder structure for that project on the finder level. So your project files can always be organized the same way!

It would be a fantastic workflow improvement adding the feature "New Projects loads template" feature, as known in After Effects (which can be set in Preferences).
This is a huge timesaver, especially when (co)working in teams, as you don't have to setup some bin structure manually each time. As we all know about deadlines becoming tighter every day, I've been handed out so many times some totally messed up projects, where it took me 100 of reveals to find what I was looking for ;-)
Cheers and thanks,

That's awesome. Should have checked here first. Just put in another suggestion for it. lol

I appreciate this feature request. I need the same bin structure for similar projects, as well.

I have not come across this yet, and don't believe it's an available option.
I start each project the same way with a hierarchy of bin folders to maintain organization.
01 sequences
02 footage
03 music
04 Graphics
05 dynamic links
etc.
I would love to be able to open a new project and automatically launch these bins every production. Can these be added as a custom project start-up. ****, I had that ability with Sony Vegas 10 years ago. -

Could you add a "Project template" in Premiere exactly as you have it in Effects? It's very good to not have to create asset folders. :)
Here is my feedback and my opinion

Need the ability to create a Bin template.
I don't always know what the Project Settings will be when I start a project, so a Project Template doesn't help.

Template file extension (as .aet is in After Effects) and a preference selection (same) to open said template project when opening “new project” if one decides to do so.
-Thank you for considering -

Just as it works in After Effects: Set ("New Project" in Preferences)

I would like a feature that allows me to load a template that has my standard bin structure already created when I open a new project. I currently do so by opening a template file that I have on my desktop and resaving it. While this works, I think this should be a feature integrated int he program. After Effects handles this in a simple way that I think could easily work for PP where you point to a file for it to reference when you open a new Project.

I would love to see an option in the Preferences to choose a default project layout/template.
After Effects already has this option (See screenshot), and I would like to use it for Premiere Pro as well.
