I find the sequence thumbnails too similar to the clips.
They used to be different enough to quickly identify, but now the only way to quicky see is the icon in the bottom corner of each thumbnail which I don't think is enough.

Possibilities...do sequences need a thumbnail? Could there be a way to mark them with a colour or a common sequence thumnail/image?
