Performance: Playback starts freezing frequently on Mac
While editing a sequence, Premiere will sometimes just stop working. When this happens, I usually can't toggle the play/pause button. When I can, there is often a 10 second delay before playback start/stops. The preview will also not update for a number of seconds as I navigate through the sequence.
This sequence is composed of clips with the same video format and is not very complex. I don't know what exactly what triggers this but reloading premiere does not fix it. It makes Premiere pretty much unusable when it happens.
This is with Premiere 14.6.0 (build 51) on MacOS 11.01. I do not have any plugins or extensions. I don't think this is related to hardware because playback works perfectly for me before something triggers this performance issue

I've attached a video of the bug in action. When Premiere gets into this state, sometimes clicking around in the UI will also trigger a beachball
