14.6 crash deleting clip in bin
I updated to 14.6 yesterday. I'm on a Windows 10, Intel i9, 56 GB ram, Nvidia 1080ti GPU computer. I have three 4k monitors hooked up to the Nvidia.
Several times when working with clips in the bin, and pressing the "delete" key on my keyboard, the program would crash. So much so that I downgraded to 14.3.2, which is the last stable version of the software that I could use.
I've also found that for the past year or so, my custom workspaces are not saved. When I start a new project, bins are combined. When I open old projects, things are out-of-whack sometimes, and I can't figure out a pattern to it. The "import workspaces from projects" option is always unchecked on my machine.
I should also note that I tried scene detection when first upgrading to 14.6 scene detection crashed the software as well. Upon reopening the same project, the index markers were in the long clip, and they were spot on.
Another issue I'm having with bins is that thumbnails are taking forever to load, and some thumbnails for .jpeg images do not load at all. When I double-click these images, they show up fine in the preview monitor.
(Unless they are CMYK, which is a different issue all together.)
Thank you for making projects backward-compatible. That is a lifesaver. It allows me to test out the new versions and go back if they do not work correctly on my machine.
same thing for deleted clips here.
