Have files saved in the same folder as you store the project
Why does premiere pro save files to prior working directories? When you save the project everything should go into that folder or subdirectories for that folder. Not to some project that you worked on 3 weeks ago. When you export a video, the default should be that folder.

Are you suggesting that the media exported from a project, should by default be saved next to that project?
PPro maintains different lists of recently-used folders, for different tasks. Projects get defaulted to the last project save location, exported media gets defaulted to the most recent export location.

The media that is exported by a project should by default be saved next to the project. Or at least there should be an option so to make that the default.
What would be really great, is if you could set up a template file structure. One that allowed for folders for video, images, audio, and the other Adobe media programs to place their files. You set the top-level folder name, and the other folder popergate under it. An overall project manager.
So if I start a project, let us call it Green Tree Farm. If I start that project in any of the Adobe media products, they know to place their files under that project in a predefined folder. They also know where to pull the original or processed videos, images and audio files. When it is time to export or save the results from those programs, they also know to place them into specific folders under that main structure.

Premiere 14 has been saving my projects into the CS6 folder instead of 14.0. So now I have to remember which projects use which version, or something will break.
