Timecode missing from FCP Translation Results
The information contained within the FCP Translation Results text doc that is exported alongside each XML has the potential to be extremely useful in relaying effects that are non-transferrable between programs, yet falls short due to lack of timecode for some effects.
For example, certain effects, such as Morph Cuts, display the timecode and track name for when/where the certain effect is used. Other, more commonly used effects, such as Horizontal Flip or Camera Blur, are missing the vital timecode information. I'm unsure if this is a bug or purposeful, however, the language in the Translation Results doc suggests that the missing timecode should be there (see "at" followed by a space dedicated for timecode):
Sequence <SEQUENCENAME> at , video track 5: Effect <Camera Blur> on Clip <MassGeneralHospitallogoPNG.png> not translated.
Screenshot attached of an effect where timecode doesn't export vs. an effect where it does.
I've also seen an earlier thread from 2018 where a similar issue was raised, but not addressed. The link to that thread is here: https://adobe-video.uservoice.com/forums/911233-premiere-pro/suggestions/34254223-fix-missing-timecodes-in-fcp-translation-results
Any information regarding this would be appreciated. It would be incredibly helpful to have this issue fixed or feature implemented.
