track based video effects
In addition to Adjustment layers, I often want to apply an effect to an entire video track, the way I would with audio tracks.
Imagine I want to make one track black and white, even though it's made up of dozens of different clips where Master Effect wouldn't work.
But there will be gaps between some clips. Adding an Adjustment layer above would make video clips below those gaps ALSO black and white, which I don't want.
I need to be able to say "all of track 3 is B&W, all of track 5 is horizontally flipped" etc....
This often happens in music videos, where one "storyline" needs an effect (one video I edited had a reoccurring track that had a VHS effect getting worse and worse, intercut with a storyline that was cinematic and warm). Nesting might seem like a solution, but only when you have multiple synced cameras being intercut. On a music video, I had hundreds from three cameras.

Yes, this would be an excellent feature, but this suggestion is being split into several requests and we need to team up.
Put these terms into the search field ("video" "track" "effect" "adjust") and upvote similar requests.
Adding color grading or an effect to a video track would be a massive improvement. Adjustment layers, nest, master clip grade etc. will not do it as smooth in a larger multi cam setup.
