Issues about GPU accelerate failure
As an editor who needs to produce video every week, there are two problems that always make me headaches.
First is the instability of estimated rendering time when using Hardware rendering setting, next is the notification of GPU acceleration failure often jumped out when video is about finishing its rendering.
Although I have no knowledge of programming, I would like to know if there is a chance that Premiere Pro can analyze the clips that require more calculations, and render these clips first. In this way, even if the GPU acceleration fails, I can be notified as soon as possible. And that would be very helpful.
As for the inaccuracy of the estimated time, it is actually related to the amount of effect of the video. Since it is render from the beginning to the end of a video, the estimated time will continue to change.
This problem has become more serious after the update of Hardware encoding . I hope that your team can improve the algorithms, and make the estimated time more accurate.
Thanks for reading my suggestion.
