Enabling hardware accelerated decoding on Mac Pro causes slow project
Enabling hardware accelerated decoding in Preferences > Media causes Premiere on Mac to behave very slowly in projects with compressed media.
I've used Premiere 14.3.1, as well as the previous version, and OSX 10.15.6 and 10.15.5 on a 2019 Mac Pro with a 16-core processor, 192GB RAM, and Dual AMD Vega II 32GB GPU's.
With that option enabled, projects with compressed media (for example, stock, zoom screen recordings, etc.) are horribly slow and unresponsive. With the option disabled, the software is as responsive as expected.

I have the same problem and suspect it's because our graphic cards are not supported. Are you any further in resolving this problem?
