Dynamic Link is BROKEN in ALL versions of CC2020
Dynamic link between After Effects and Premiere 2020 is BROKEN in all versions.
ALL of my work is dependent upon this link working and now I am at a standstill.
THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED!
Here is a just a small bit from the console in Premiere:
<17064> <dvacore.StructuredLogging> <4> We have timed out on an async source. This probably shouldn't happen and will result in performance problems, media: "afib-part1/heart-super-animation-for-AFIB.aep", frame: 29

Happily, most users aren’t having that issue.
Perhaps the source media for afib-part1/heart-super-animation-for-AFIB.aep is unavailable? If the logs you’ve provided aren’t truncated, it seems like only a few frames are affected. Is something potentially interfering with access to the source media?

Bruce,
I managed to get an tech on the phone and we talked our way through the problem I was having with the remote access service Adobe provides.
The end solution was rolling back my current projects to CC2018 using the built in save as 15.x feature in AE and the "secret" Adobe Premiere conversion utility to roll my Premiere2020 files back to 2018.
I hope that more attention can be paid to the Dynamic Link aspect of these two pieces of software as there are many things one can do in AE2020 that you cannot do in the 2018 (stable) version.
Cheers. -

Hi Bruce.
I know exactly what the problem is with that file. I sent it last week to the tech I was online with for several hours, but apparently it didn't make it up the ladder.
In the case of that file, which was made in AE a couple years ago, the "zig-zag" animation addon applied to a shape layer breaks the comp.
Needless to say, I have HUNDREDS of AE comps I reuse continuously for projects that I make for my company and many of them will simply not render in each of the 14*** versions of premiere.
I would very much like to talk to someone on the phone and then show them via remote access the problems I am having. Is this possible?
Thank you.
