Bug: Mask distorts when copying and pasting
I have two similar images of the same size. I am attempting to paste an opacity mask and keyframes from one image (the stroke graphic) on to another (the hashed graphic). When pasting the mask, the new copy is distorted. This is preventing me from building out an animation.
I position the playhead at the beginning of each graphic. The two graphics are aligned in size, resolution, and duration. In Effects Controls, I select the named mask. I copy, select the destination object's Opacity effect, and paste. The mask and its keyframes are added to the new object - but the mask is bent out of shape.
Same result if pasting opacity layers and masks individually.
Thank your for any advice that may help me paste the mask, and finish the project.

I would also like a fix for this...
I am copying a clip with a keyframed mask on it, when copied the mask shifts position. So basically I have to re-do the whole mask again.
Nothing is being changed either, just copying the clip into another sequence.
The clip I masked is an after effects dynamic linked clip.
