Extend does not bring all tracks lasso'ed at ends back to the playhead
Back-extend of selected cuts does not meet up at the Playhead. Nice jagged pattern. Great for modern art, not much use in editing. This kind behavior should have been nailed years ago.

Thank you, Sami. Tried it and also Extend Previous Edit to Playhead.
Attached snapshots: 1- Selected edits, 2- After pressing E, here wired with Extend Previous Edit to Playhead. You can see the lavender track (a captions track) does not follow to the playhead. Trim Previous Edit fares no better.
(In fact, as you see in the next two snapshots, 3- I try to Extend the lavender track alone, Premiere reports missing media and does not complete. 4- I extend by hand to the playhead, revealing one final caption.) I include this bug-like behavior as relevant.
The expected Extend behavior (for those coming from other NLE's) is that all selected track edits will advance or retard to the playhead (if media truly allows it) when invoking the E key (at least as I have it wired.)
The Trim function is implicit, it's an elegant shortcut for a Rolling Edit on one (or more when it works) tracks.
Best, as always,

The back-extend extends your selection to the playhead while keeping the relative difference of the selection. To achieve your desired function, use Trim Previous Edit to Playhead (shortcut Shift+W) and it will bring all cut to exactly where your playhead is.
