FCPXML Export is Broken - Never works
The option to export a FCPXML file for project work sharing between FCPX (because captioning is trash right now in PPro not so good in FCPX either but Scenarist works with FCPX) This option NEVER works. Always errors out, I have never gotten it to work with any project, not once. You might think the xml files are written properly and I just need to change the extension, but nope, Final Cut doesn't recognize it as proper FCPXML file. Please fix this issue, I was pleasantly surprised to see this kind of interoperability only to be sorely disappointed when I could not use it.
Premiere Pro imports and exports FCP XML corresponding to version 4 of Apple’s specification, similar to the support implemented in Final Cut Pro 7.0.3

Ah okay, I think I conflated the FCPX part of the name and associated it with the newer version. Is an update planned (i.e. would it be ill advised to spend much time on a plugin that helps interoperability)
@Antoine Autokroma what do you mean?

You don't need to open 4 multiple issues that clutters UserVoice it's useless
Premiere Pro imports and exports FCP XML corresponding to spec revision 4, similar to that imported/exported by Final Cut Pro version 7.0.3 (not X); this older version is a commonly used interchange format throughout the broadcast industry.
You're correct, Final Cut Pro X does not directly support that earlier version of Apple's own spec.
