Updating Essential Graphics Template (MOGRT) with sound always hangs at 89%
I have an AE composition with sound exported as a MOGRT that I use in Premiere Pro. I can import it and it'll display correctly. But if I attempt to Alt+Drag over an old one, the "Loading Motion Graphics Template..." gets stuck at 89%.
Pressing "Cancel" closes the popup, but the program fails to respond.
It happens every time I do this.
If I remove the sound layer it works fine.

That sounds really frustrating and weird! The Mogrt works with one user account but not another?
Can you tell me what version of Premiere Pro you are using?
Are the accounts Individual or Business accounts?
One last question, are these Mogrts being applied to your sequence from a Creative Cloud Library, i.e. are you drag and dropping from the EGP with only the Library filter applied or from the Libraries panel?Thanks,

I have same issue I'm using Premier pro 2020 but when I'm add morgt file to the time line it will hang 15% loading and nothing happen.. even i try to uninstall and install still problem is there.. but when i add another user to my pc and login with it, it's work without any issues but problem is my arrangement of application can't get in to this user

As I mentioned in my last comment, we have a fix in-hand and I will update this channel as soon as the next release with the fix is made public (legal lives to tie our hands on this, unfortunately). I will mention though that we have been releasing new updates with bug fixes monthly for the last few months so ... its coming ;)

I have a pink and green issue going on and I JUST downloaded this program.I have read up on the issue and it says to download the newest version. I have the newest and the issue is still there. Now what?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have successfully reproduced this issue on my end and have filed a bug report. I'm sorry I don't have a workaround at this point for you but I will update this channel about a fix as soon as I can.

If you could send both the older Mogrt that you are trying to replace as well as the new version with Audio that would be very helpful for me to try and debug the issue.
You can find copies of both the Mogrts in your Local Templates Media folder which you can find here:
(mac) username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Motion Graphics Templates
(win) root ://Users/username/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Common/Motion Graphics TemplatesOr you can re-export them from AE and select "Local Drive" and then hit the Browse button to choose where you want to Mogrts exported to like your desktop or something.

I mean I'm replacing the item in the timeline with a new version of the MOGRT. It's a new version of the same template and I'm replacing it in the PP timeline.
I'll have to figure out how I export the MOGRT with sound for upload here.

That sounds frustrating... When you say that you are attempting to Alt+Drag over "an old one," do you mean you are attempting to replace another Mogrt file or are you attempting to replace the original AE Comp in the timeline?
Would you be willing to share the Mogrt with audio file that is causing headaches? I'd like to try and repro in-house.
