Fix Project Manager to work with .Braw files types.
Whenever I try to use the Project Manager with a sequence that has .braw clips in it, I'm given the error "An unknown error occurred during the Project Manager operation. Please save your project and retry the operation."
Instead of being able to collect and copy files to a new location or consolidate and transcode footage in the click of a few buttons, I take an hour to do it manually.
Fix this.

If you are still having some issues using Premiere Pro Project Manager, you can give a try to the FREE PlumePack Plugin.
The FREE version supports a equivalent of "Collect & Copy" feature from the Project Manager but works with Braw File and solves also other issues. There is a Premium version with a Lossless Trim Engine to perform a "Consolidate & Lossless Trim" feature.

Same here... It still does not work and why "unknown error"? It took me many hours to figure out that it was the .braw files.
Please fix this and optimize the Project Manager!
Thank you!By the way: Thanks for your comments Nicolas from Autokroma - I will have a look!

BRAW Studio can solve this issue, but we also have now a second product specialised into Project Management which also works with BRAW files (even if BRAW Studio is not used).
For "Collect & Copy", it does the same job than the project manager but without bugs and it supports more Premiere Pro elements. You can can also trim your files : the unused frames in your timeline(s) are removed from the footage while keeping the same codec and quality !

Hi Ben,
"Collect & Copy" does work with .BRAW imported with BRAW Studio but for now you can't easily switch a project from Blackmagic plugin to BRAW Studio without loosing your Blackmagic RAW Source Settings (if you changed the color grade). In the future we might have an automated solution though, its just not available yet
You can test the free trial of 500 frames to test that https://www.autokroma.com/BRAW_Studio/Download -

Hi Antonie,
Does your product solve the issue of Premiere Pro's Project Manager not allowing me to "Collect & Copy" or "Consolidate & Transcode" sequences that include .BRAW footage?

I have been having the same issue and I broke down and bought the Autokroma plugin. It is awesome. So much better than the Blackmagic plugin. I would highly suggest it if you are using any Blackmagic camera.

Hi Ben,
After some testing it appears the Blackmagic RAW plugin is buggy but not BRAW Studio our importer -- we updated our article with this information https://www.autokroma.com/blog/BlackmagicRaw-Plugin-BRAW-Studio-Difference -

Hi Antoine, I just saw your response. It seems that I don't get notifications when people post on this thread.
I have ran into this issue with every version of Blackmagic Raw. I have tried using 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, and now 1.8 with both Premiere Pro CC 2019 and Premiere Pro CC 2020.
I have not tried Blackmagic's Raw 2.0 BETA yet, but will probably not as it is still in Beta.
Thanks,
