Instant crash
A weeks ago, Premiere was in a state where it would gobble up all the RAM on my laptop within 5-10 minutes (25GB). I would be able to edit a video for at least a few minutes before saving it, restarting Premiere, doing more edits. After five or such repeated cycles attempts, I would have to reboot the machine and repeat.
I don't know if that is related to this fault. I do not have the time to re-install all of Windows to try such desperate extremes. A video that should have taken 30 minutes to edit took an entire day.
Since the latest update (today is the 27'th) the memory has been replaced with something else. Please see the picture. Within seconds of dragging anything onto the timeline, I get NOT RESPONDING.
Please infer from the name of the project that you can see in Task Manager that I am losing money because of this. My business is becoming unviable. I have to use other editors now, there is no point in continuing to use Premiere.
I few versions ago, Premiere was working perfectly. I am therefore hesitant to think that it is my machine. I am too scared to update any drivers because experience has shown that that simply causes a new set of problems. Premiere has now become a waste of my time and money.
Kind regards
Mike Howell

There isn’t anything we can do, based on the information provided.
The description suggests that the project(s) PPro was opening contained some problem, that made PPro eat all available RAM.
